How are Green Card winners chosen?
Green Card Winners are chosen randomly by a computer program from the U.S. Department of State. Almost 50,000 applicants around the world receive a Green Card annually.

Most of applications get refused due to personal image issues. So please read below the requirement of USA green card photograph requirement.
U.S. Visa and Green Card Photograph Requirements:
- Photo must be new (No more than 6 months)
- The photo size must be exactly 2 inches by 2 inches.
- Head of applicant should be 25mm to 35 mm
- Applicant can’t be wearing hat or glasses in photo
- Photo background must be plain white or off-white

Important Notes:
You have to write your full name exactly as your name in passport
If you are married and have children, you have to create a separate application for you and another one for your wife and you can add your children and wife or each application. Children can’t have a separate app
After you submit your application, you will get application code number, you have to save it, so that you can check the results in May.
